Perioview® Dental Endoscope
Perioview is a sophisticated digital endoscope designed specifically for periodontal therapy. Think of it as a tiny, high-definition camera—just 1mm wide—that we gently glide into the periodontal pocket. This technology gives our clinicians a clear, 100x magnified view of the root surface on an HD monitor.
In the past, cleaning deep infections often required "flap surgery," where the gums are surgically opened to see the root. With Perioview, we achieve "Precision Without Incision."
- Superior Results: We can identify and remove microscopic plaque and calculus that are invisible to the naked eye or X-rays.
- Minimally Invasive: Because we can see exactly what we’re doing, there is no need for scalpels or sutures in many cases.
- Faster Recovery: With no surgical wounds to heal, you can return to your daily routine immediately with minimal to no discomfort.
- Early Detection: We can spot root fractures or hidden infections early, potentially saving teeth that might otherwise be lost.
LANAP Dental Lasers
Gentle Healing with LANAP: The "No-Cut, No-Sew" Solution for Gum Disease
If you have been diagnosed with periodontal disease, the thought of traditional gum surgery can be intimidating. At our practice, we are proud to offer the LANAP Protocol (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure)—the first and only FDA-cleared laser treatment scientifically proven to regenerate lost bone and tissue.
What is LANAP?
Unlike conventional surgery that relies on scalpels and sutures, LANAP uses a highly specialized laser fiber as thin as three human hairs. This precision laser selectively targets and eliminates harmful bacteria and diseased tissue without harming your healthy gums.
Why Choose LANAP?
Because this treatment is minimally invasive, it offers a "no-cut, no-sew, no-fear" experience with several life-changing benefits:
- Faster Recovery: Most patients return to their normal daily activities within 24 hours.
- Minimal Discomfort: The laser cauterizes as it treats, resulting in significantly less bleeding, swelling, and post-operative pain.
- True Regeneration: LANAP doesn't just stop the infection; it stimulates your body’s natural ability to regrow bone and reattach gum tissue to the tooth.
- Preserves Your Smile: Traditional surgery often leads to gum recession and "longer" teeth. LANAP preserves your natural gum line for a more aesthetic result.
- Saves "Hopeless" Teeth: By promoting bone growth, we can often save teeth that would otherwise require extraction.
Don’t let the fear of surgery stand in the way of your health. Contact us today to see if you are a candidate for LANAP laser therapy.

We Are a Patient-Centered Periodontist Practice
We foster a culture of empathy in our patients and our community. We understand that no two patients are alike and believe you should be treated with the respect, compassion, and consideration you deserve.
We pride ourselves on being conservative in our treatment recommendations and limiting surgery to the areas where it is absolutely necessary.
What is a Periodontist?
Periodontists receive several additional years of education beyond dental school. They are dentists who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal gum disease and the placement of dental implants. They are also experts in the treatment of oral inflammation, bleeding gums, severe Gingivitis, and Cosmetic Gum Procedures.
What is a Board Certified Periodontist?
All periodontists must complete two to three years of specialized training in periodontics following dental school. However, some periodontists opt to take the board-certification examination, which is offered by the American Board of Periodontology. A dentist who becomes board certified in periodontology is one who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. This includes demonstrating a comprehensive mastery of all phases of periodontal disease and treatment and in the placement of dental implants. Board certified periodontists are required to renew their certification every six years.
